Articles : beijinger333 commented on news Are Chinese Men Good Enough for Chinese Women?

1.) Chinese men look awful. I'd be pissed if I was an international girl living here. I couldnt look that ugly even if I tried. 2.) Most mainland Chinese (male and female) suffer from SFS (stupid face syndrome) so won't look good no matter how fashionable/fit. 3.) Let's take a look at the neighbors: Russia, Korea, ... Articles : beijinger333 commented on news China Goes Soft: Understanding China’s Use of Soft Power

Why is China always trying to compete with the US? Different people are good at different things. The entertainment industry is clearly America's strong suit, no other country even come close. No one watches Chinese movies or listens to Chinese music (sans sinophiles and Chinese people themselves). Im pretty sure ... Full Comment>>

Lol, guess the intellectual property police haven't realized that Baidu, Weibo, Renren, Dianping, Youku, and a slew of other major companies are just copies of Google, Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, Youtube, etc..not to mention the tens, probably hundreds of thousands of places that sell fakes every day. Articles : beijinger333 commented on news Are China and the USA Enemies? A Survey Reveals All

Genuine question: If China was the "world leader", how do you think China would go about this? I mean, we all know what America stands for (freedom, equality, innovation, Apple, Hollywood, Levis, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, music, etc), but what does China stand for? And how would their principles and ideologies manifest ... Full Comment>>

What is a tabacconist? How on Earth do you take 20,000 RMB from someone without them noticing? An RMB note with a what in the corner?...shop keeper should've refused that request from the beginning. And why on Earth would you let a customer get up in your cash drawer? Full Comment>>

Well, no discussion there. It's pretty clear he hit her, and yes, fairly hard. What the hell kind of turn was that in the first place? I thought it would at least be a coincidental, accidental, could-maybe-happen-to-anyone type of collision. Dude sure made his own bed... Full Comment>>

I believe laowai has a negative connotation. When I started working for a Chinese company last year, one of the employees referred to me as laowai. Great read. "Networking costs money. If you recoil at 40 RMB+ for a drink or 50 for a burger…that’s because you are poor and you need to change that."-my favorite line.
