I know exactly the kind of backpacker the article is on about cause I've met them a few times. Most backpackers are fine but there are some who seem to believe that spending their gap year in the Far East makes them better than people who haven't had the same experience. It's like spending a week living in a yurt ... Full Comment>>

Funnily enough last week I could have made about 70yuan by being undercharged on two completely separate occasions. Both times I told them about their mistake and gave them the extra change they'd handed me back cause I see no reason to cheat people. Like you said, better to do that then try to visit revenge on ... Full Comment>>

Aug 27,2016 12:45 comment|73013|86810

Depends on the airport. Last week I spent more than 30 minutes trying to pass through transfer security at Guangzhou airport. Admittedly they did have all their desks open but 5 desks is really not enough for the amount of passengers they had. WiFi can also be an issue since they require sending you an SMS. If you ... Usually that's not the fault of the airport though. It's caused by China not opening up enough air corridors. Full Comment>>

I said if you lose it. Not if you never registered in the first place. The whole point of registration is that the government have those details. If you lose your car registration you simply ask to have a new one sent to you. You'll probably have to pay a fee of some sort but that's it. Full Comment>>
