Thank you Cooter. There were many reasons for the divorce. It just so happened that, the fact my ex-wife didn't have the will to chase up this exemplified why I felt she didn't support me in ways. That being said, this was a very small reason. The big reason was more the people in this country that we have to deal ... Full Comment>>

I was supposed to recieve 5,000 RMB a couple of years ago, Phil, after I fought two guys whose girlfriend picked up my son, out of the blue, and without asking first. Sad thing is, they paid just 1,000 on the day, and my ex-wife never bothered chasing up the rest. Another reason for the divorce, that was. WHy I ... Full Comment>>

Shame that so much of their economy is still based on corruption and counterfeits though, aye. Also, there will remain a deep-lying ingrained mis-trust which, until this is combatted, will mean that China will not really succeed outside the mainland. Also, so many companies are still state-owned further engraining ... Full Comment>>

I'm guessing Daqing had to explain the rules to them etc, in English. Not every lesson has to be so mind-numbingly boring. It's good to give the children something to really enjoy once in a while. I find it keeps them onside when they know that they are required to do a mix of hard work and play. Full Comment>>
