I've had several different students ask me about the gun issue. "Do white people shoot black people in US?" (literally what I was asked by a 11 year old. Pretty shocking. Damn, and I got pretty down just from not hearing birds chirp for a several days straight with the air only getting to 200AQI... I guess I shouldn't complain!
