It's a nice and relaxing place with nice cocktails. The good thing about this place is that it is in a courtyard inside a hutong house, which makes it quiet although really near all the attractions of gulou, houhai and naluoguxiang. Chilled out music.

Also recommend Pass By Bar. Great food, atmosphere and lively surroundings. A huge selection of beers from around the world. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend the lamb shanks. Full Comment>>

Good multinational crowd, including Chinese :) friendly staff, decent French food, good wines. Eat first, then party with everyone when the kitchen closes and the restaurant becomes a bar until 5 am or even later. Easy to mix with people and make new friends.

Great rooftop bar, real alcohol, quality cocktails, trendy/non-mainstream music, nice view of Village and surrounding modern towers. The "Migas crowd" is sometimes a bit too cool to be fun, but hey, just make it happen ;)

Nice to chill out. There Meat lover pizza is not bad, especially considering the price. Beware of fake alcohol though. But that's the downside of a lot of cheap bars in China.
