I live around the corner from a Yunda office, its Managed by a pack of scruffy looking shirtless farmers that appear to be paid peanuts, 100's of packages are literally thrown all over the road. I'll take SF anyday, the drivers look respectable. Full Comment>>

I think profit margins must be extremely high. The cost of logistics and labour are lower in China regardless of inefficiency. If you offered a farmer in Europe 30,000rmb for a years work he would laugh at you. There seems to be some crazy notion in China that the more you gotta pay for something the better it must ...
