Sounds sensible. I think that loneliness is indeed at the root of many problems foreigners face in China. A beautiful Chinese wife could change it all...it's not that easy, though, since the family probably won't speak English (or German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.) and not everybody has the ability to ... I strongly disagree that expats have the same addictions, regardless of where they are. I'm probably addicted to internet in China (spending at least 5h online after work), but in Malaysia, England, and South Africa, where I spent most of my life, I hardly used internet at all. Full Comment>>
