If one is not useful anymore, then one is not needed, and therefore good bye. I thought that's how it worked all over the world. When you skill is in demand they pay you a premium, when it's not needed...you know. So stop blaming China, find another place where your skills are needed. Full Comment>>

Laowai are here to find some kind of success of their own. People like you are definitely not here to help China see the light, it's because you cannot succeed in your own country. So it's time to stop basking in your own self deception and sense of superiority and be thankful for what you have; if you're here ... Full Comment>>

This is a very interesting article. It shows us that we tend to generalize and make a statement that seems to sound derogatory towards a group of people. Your opening sentence tries to lessen the blow by saying that 'sometimes we're afraid of it'. We should be honest but specific; for example, I could never imagine ... Full Comment>>

Did you read the comment from the Englishman? Chinese investment into Africa has been going on for donkey years. It was not based on making quick profit. China needed friends. I think could have been too young but most of the Western world did not recognize this country. Yes, they also thought Africa was a place to ... Full Comment>>
