I'm curious, are dating websites as prominent as they are here in the US? I feel like every time I watch TV I see a commercial for another matchmaker website. If you have a smartphone, use it to your advantage. There are apps for everything. Get WeChat, text/talk to language partners, get notifications for daily vocabulary, there are Chinese-English dictionaries (I love Pleco) , and you can even set your phone and Siri in Chinese. China has the highest rate of diabetes in its adult population at 11.6%. That's 114 million people. The US by comparison has a 11.3% rate.
