Thank you for your post. I am now much less likely to feel sorry for myself. I'm sure you've considered moving to a big city with a decent job market but your wife and in-laws are against it. After reading your tale of woe I'm now far less likely to feel sorry for myself. I've been teaching in Shanghai for the last three years.
