the more modernized China becomes the higher the divorce rates will go. Reasons for getting married in previous 'traditional' generations have changed compared to todays genration and will continue to change. I think a lot of this may be true in many societies, and not just China: "Overly" educated, Wealthy, and women with high standards. To many men this can be very intimidating; not only in China.
