With over 12 years of international teaching experience across Chengdu, Shanghai, and Ningbo, I bring a dynamic and student-focused approach to English language education. I hold a bachelor's degree in Education, a TKT certification, and an MPhil in business management, which are complemented by numerous CPD courses in Education and child protection. I have taught learners of all ages and levels, and have held leadership roles that involved mentoring new teachers, conducting inductions, and contributing to curriculum development in institutions such as EF, Elan Education, and Georgia School in Ningbo. My teaching style is deeply rooted in the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) philosophy, which prioritizes meaningful communication and real-world language use. I firmly believe that grammar, often perceived as intimidating by students, becomes approachable and enjoyable when delivered through methods that foster exploration and autonomy, such as Task-Based Learning (TBL) and the ESA (Engage-Study-Activate) framework. These strategies empower students to discover patterns and rules for themselves, making grammar a living, engaging part of language learning.
