Are you a 'foreign clown'? I'm not, I teach my students properly and have a related BA and MA. Fact, I have been here long enough that if I was a Chinese immigrant in the UK, I would have had PR and citizenship long before now but I will have to leave here one day under the present rules. Teaching is an honest living. Not anyone is just capable of rocking up and doing a good job and especially not going 8000 miles or whatever and having to deal with culture shock, practices of a foreign working environment etc - what I have found with a lot of other 'non-teaching' expats is that they came here to ... Quite right! What's the definition of 'real' what's the definition of 'real' England? Is it Kensington in London or Kensington in Liverpool?
