I am a professional EFL/ESL Teacher, currently working in a middle school in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province. Before that I worked in a High School in Jiangyan, Taizhou, Jiangsu Province China. Before that I worked in Vietnam (6 months) and China (9 months) as a Grade 1 Home Room teacher. I have worked as an English Teacher in Japan for seven different English Schools (all in Sapporo), and have more than 12 years experience. I have worked with pre-school children through to adults. I have completed two contracts working for Interac as an ALT in Junior High schools, and prior to that I was head teacher for Wills English school. I am currently working part time to obtain my Trinity Dip Tesol. I am passionate about teaching English, and have also completed two years of Primary Teaching Education at the Dunedin College of Education. I have a BA Degree from the University of Otago, and a TESOL Certificate from ITTT. I am also a musician, and a writer. I am a young 52, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for teaching English. I have been teaching High School and Middle School in China now for 3 years. Prior to that I taught in Vietnam and before that China, Shanghai, as a Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher for the Shanghai Shangde Experimental School (IB).
