The local government didn't sell it to Wanda. The could, of course, take it by eminent domain but the law is not in their side and if it did they would have to have the willingness to pay him almost 300 million euro and make if worthwhile for the city budget. Full Comment>>

Spain is not bankrupt. We have a high public debt because of the biggest financial crisis in the developed world after the Great Depression of 1929.
