Articles : Nixan commented on news Political Face-Off: Why do Chinese People Like Putin Better than Obama?

Dont worry about Putin`s invasion. I am afraid when he leaves we will have nothing except vodka, sausages and other petty bourgeoisie prosperity. And only some old men will be missing those ancient times when we also have had high science, literature, and we had some perspectives for the future, in those times ... Full Comment>>

Articles : Nixan commented on news 6 Strange Compliments You Get in China (and How to Handle Them)

I have heard that in past times (before reforms, 1978) if a man wants to express his sex-simpathy and love to a woman, he couldnt say: "I like/love you", he was allowed just to say her: "You serve to chairman Mao very well!" . (meaning was the same). :-))) Can anybody confirm it is true? Full Comment>>

Articles : Nixan commented on news Love and Unavoidable Conflict When Chinese Women and American Men Date

It is evident the problem (I mean first story) is not of China-American couples, it is a universal problem. The traditional balance of rights and duties between a husband and a wife is destroied. Present women want to receive gifts and protection, favours from a man (as if a vassal from his senior), and at the same ... Full Comment>>

I think a foreigner paid too much. If you agree you were wrong in this situation, words of excuse will be quite enough. (You should say to him you also have suffered). If a Chinese want money compensation - 50 RMB will be quite enough. His kind of bycicle (quite new) is worthy of 300 RMB (so, why he wants 2000?). If ... Full Comment>>
