A foreign teacher I know works for one of China's biggest english factories. When they take holidays they have to do the equivalent number of classes in the months before their "paid leave" to make up for the time they are off. So not really holidays. So not just Chinese workers. Full Comment>>

From personal experience I discovered that although your ISP may send you a certain bandwidth, if the equipment in your district or apartment complex isn't able to handle it, you will only get what it can handle.
