Ah yes, the "English teachers are unmotivated scum" theory. Interestingly, I know a number of teachers/instructors/professors of English that do own cars, homes, have nice retirement packages socked away, go on fairly exotic vacations at least once a year (for several weeks) and are doing a job they love ...
