I agree with aliensteve. I just want to add that LV bags and Rolex watches are status SYMBOLS, symbols of economic success. I found that Chinese people always compare themselves and seem to be very "socially competitive". Nowadays, the Chinese middle and higher class seem to look down at those that are not ...
