This article doesn't include all the details. I read from another source that the American guy's phone was stolen in America, and that many stolen phones from America end up in China for sale. Brother orange just happened to buy the phone without knowing the origin. Full Comment>>

I have no interest in debating economics or philosophy, but here's something you need to understand: either everyone in the world is poor, or some people can become rich, but not everyone can be rich. Capitalism is the only realistic economic system that can bring people out of poverty. Human nature prevents any ... Full Comment>>

Chinese people will admit that they barely study or learn anything in university, and that their professors barely teach anything. It would be much better to implement this in high school. Full Comment>>

Mostly good points, except "Chinese students have caused universities to lower standards. " University standards have been lowered for many reasons, such as the exponential increase in college admissions over the past few decades and affirmative action, to name a couple. Full Comment>>

I don't disagree with what you said. But like I said, I'm only interested in a scientific defense of TCM. I won't defend TCM on TCM terms. TCM may be broad, but I'm optimistic that science will be able to explain it (the ones that have an explanation of course). Also, besides oral and topical medicine, what other ... Full Comment>>

The story of aspirin is just like some Chinese medicine. Find something that works through trial and error, and then science will catch up to explain it. I wouldn't be surprised if the ancient Greeks thought that the pain-relieving white powder was magic powder from Zeus. Full Comment>>

That would be nice. However in the article I posted, there is mention of a biochemical mechanism that the TCM employs which the researchers had not seen in action before. As science advances more, maybe more studies will be published. Full Comment>>
