True, true and true. Luckily for anyone else, it was only me in the taxi, but still, it was an interesting ride to say the least. I have also been told by other foreigners that female taxi drivers are to be looked out for as well. Thanks for your advice. I'll be sure to keep my guard up when it comes to taxi's and ... I agree with you on the China being a better country than Japan to be a vegetarian comment. I know its far more better than Japan as well. But about Daqing, I had just graduated college and it was just a wild first choice, but it is a very clean city, just way to far north and way too cold for me. Now in Taiyuan, I ... Full Comment>>

I see, I'm not a big fan of closed thinking so much myself which is why I like southern China, and the cold, harsh, polluted winters of the north are a bit much for me as well. I do like China a lot, but as all things in life, there are some things that we all don't like. Pollution and cold weather are the things I ... Full Comment>>

Why you should learn the language of the country you are in.... So I'm at the Fast train station and I catch a taxi home. Now, I know that a taxi ride from the train station to my apartment is no more than 10 or 11 RMB max. This guy takes a long circular route and I'm like.....No he didn't just do this....So I start ...
