A WARNING TO ALL FOREIGNERS LOOKING FOR JOBS IN SUZHOU

A WARNING TO ALL FOREIGNERS LOOKING FOR JOBS IN SUZHOU

Hi everyone, I just want to offer one piece of advice and information to everyone. It's very simple and quick, if you are looking for a job at an English training centre in Suzhou, please do not accept work from Web International Pingjiang Centre.

There are many reasons for this but the main one is that after at first behaving in a manner that was respectable and actually a breath of fresh air, they then reverted to type and have essentially encouraged the whole education staff to resign because we expressed that we were unhappy with some of the new changes and policy.

If you do want to take a job with them, then by all means the choice is yours but this is just a warning to you. Do not believe any of their false pretences or outward shows of decency, friendship and professionalism.

They are excellent liars and ruthless in their dealings with anyone who decides to say if they are unhappy (regardless of how professional, hardworking and supportive of the company you might have been in the past).

After working here for nearly 2 years and being a friendly and hard working teacher I thought that my troubles and maybe upset might be listened to a bit more. But instead they have said to myself and most of my education dep. colleagues that if were not happy we can go and i quote "we can always hire more teachers so it doesn't really matter."

If anyone does want more details please just comment on here and i will do my best to give you more details. Thanks for your time and I wish you all a good day.

Chinese bosses are always reactionary, which is ironic since they're usually from CCP families. Their loss. Good luck out there.
