Some people behave in a non sociable way, true, but this is hardly a problem of China alone. For example, I used to work in tourism and some of the most difficult people were from France. This is not a new thing. There are tours such as these that are being run as rackets. The front is a tour company that promises to do whatever the contract states but there are grey areas in the contract. These are operating in the mainland.
