I will like to share with the general public about my academic biography.

Introduction

Tolulope Emmanuel, Oginni is a Nigerian, who was born on the 27th day of July in the year 1991 to the family of 5 which later turns 9 adopted 2 kids more to make 11. He moved to China in the 11th of September, 2017 through the Pudong international airport, Shanghai from Nigeria. I am Christian, book lover and participate in all kinds of sports, but most especially football. My purpose in moving to China was to continue my studies with Zhejiang University, Hangzhou as a Master's student in Physical Oceanography that lasted for 2 years 6 months. While in China, so many things happen, which I will like to save for another day, but trust me my life in China is truly a remarkable one that I will love to share in the nearest future. let go down to business.

Academic History and Achievement

I started my early kindergarten school very early in which I have no idea of how it goes. The story fades away as I grow older, But I quite remember how my primary school went, in which I don't want to do anything rather than to have fun with my friends during rest hour and lunch break, this continues until I have to change my location due to our relocation, changing school has always been tagged to be somethings that always have a negative impact on kids academics life but mine was the opposite, it was really a big turn over for me for better. I will also like to keep this story for another day. I got to my new school, started has a poor performing student (underperformance ), but quickly meet up at the next semester.  Graduated primary school has top 2 in a class of 55, the best in my provincial external examination and all high school within and outside my province are readily available to accept me.

High School is a lot of fun, gaming, challenging and a lot of personal determination, pass through high junior high school with little challenges and was posted to be a science student at senior high school, also pass through and graduated as the valedictory of the set. Got admitted into the university the next year where I studied Marine Science and Technology in my first degree at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, since then my interest in studying the ocean more has grown so rapidly.

However, observation and studying the ocean theoretically and practically has begun since my second year at the university and went through to my fifth year (Final year). I have my first sea experience during a 5 days departmental fieldwork on the Niger-Delta Coastline in Ayetoro, Ondo state, Nigeria. We observed and analyzed the Physico-chemical parameter from the inland water through to the estuaries and to the open sea. Physico-Chemical Parameter like Sea Surface Temperature (SST), Sea Surface Salinity (SSS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Conductivity, Wind speed, Pressure, Humidity and Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP). Also, alongside was an Automatic weather station equipped with different sensors for different parameters, positioned at a point on the observation area (Atlantic beach). We run this observation for 3 years. My first-degree thesis was titled “Modeling Geoelectrical Responses of Buried Structures in Freshwater and Saline Water Environments”. Set up a model tank for the experiment.

More so, I have my internship with Lagos Channel Management (LCM) which works for the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA). I work with the survey and water monitoring department, where will carry out daily Physico-chemical monitoring of the Lagos Lagoon and also do the bathymetric survey of the Lagos Lagoon Channel.

I am presently working on ocean features dynamic to typhoons using numerical modeling and simulation, and currently submitted a paper on “Features of super-typhoon Haiyan in multi-platform datasets”. for my Master's degree at the Zhejiang University in China by studying Physical Oceanography in affiliated with the Second Institute of Oceanography, Hangzhou which I serve as an assistant researcher. in which I graduated from in this march, 2020.
