There are three steps in making a Bayeux scripture:
1;Take leaves: the Sanskrit scripture is made from the leaves of the Bedolo tree grown in South Asia. Cut the leaves from the Bedolo tree, trim the Bedolo leaves with a knife, and roll the three to five pieces into a roll and cook them in a pot. add sour horn or lemon to make the skin on the surface of the Bedolo leaf fall off until the Bedolo leaf turns pale green and white, then take it out of the pot, take it to the river and wash it with fine sand, then flatten the Bedolo leaf. Dry it, put it in the wind for a while, then Binding up together.
2;making the wooden box: the standard for making Bayeux scripture is two special wooden boxes, The wooden box is about one and a half feet long, about four inches wide, drill a small hole half a yard from each end of the box. The dried and flattened leaves were tightly clamped in the middle of the box, and the two ends were tied tightly with a rope, and then the string was put on. in according with five hundred to six hundred Bayes for one box. then, with a knife gently smooth the Bayeux box, with the autocratic ink line, according to writing format, gently put the ink line on the Bayeux leaf, leaving it to be written later.
3;Engraved: Bayeux scripture was originally written on the Bayeux leaf with a small knife. Because it was slow and laborious to write with a knife, it was later written with an iron scorpion. After the engraving, use the plant fruit oil to blend the black smoke at the bottom of the pot, apply it on the carved Bayeux leaf, and then wipe it with a damp cloth. The writing on the Bayeux leaf in clearly visible . after the engraved book is bound, it is coated with a layer of fine metalwork and smeared with gold powder on the periphery of the four sides, thus giving a sense of exquisiteness, simplicity, generosity, and beauty. The Bayeux made in this way is not only clear in writing, but also cannot be erased.
legend:
Xuan Zang, an eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty, went to fetch sutras, also brought back the <Bayeux scripture> too. Because Bayeux is specially treated by boiling and other processes, so it is not only wear-resistant and light also insect-proof, waterproof, anti-deformation and durable. This is why the script of the Bayeux scripture is still clearly visible thousands of years later.
