My trip to Abu Dhabi

Getting a chance to go and work on the other end of the world is a big decision. I think that every opportunity should be used because it enriches your experience. This blog is dedicated to my experience in the Middle East, the destination of Abu Dhabi. As I said, I did not miss my chance to travel and work there, and I want to share with you my wonderful experience of this country. At 9 am, a plane from Belgrade flew to Dubai. The journey to our place lasted only 5 hours. Since I flew from Serbia, where the temperature was only 5 degrees, and landed in Dubai where the temperature was 40 degrees, it was a shock for me and a pleasant surprise (because I love summer). I took a cab and headed for Abu Dhabi. The price of taxis was more favorable than the prices of taxis in Serbia. The journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi lasted only an hour, and the roadway stretches over a beautiful desert with golden sand and palm trees. As we approached the castle of huge and beautiful villas, buildings and buildings left me breathless. I was placed in a hotel that was in the center of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is a metropolis with huge buildings, seven-lane boulevards, luxury hotels, an eight-kilometer-long beach.Photo1photo2photo3photo4

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the seat of the emirate of the same name, and the second largest city in the country. It is located on the island of the Persian Gulf, which is only 250 meters from the land. This city was just over 50 years ago a desert full of mud and palm trees and was in the shadow of the glamorous and hedonistic Dubai. The founder of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Zaid bin Sultan Al Nahyan personally designed the present look of this metropolis. Interestingly, every flower, tree or bush on the street has its own sprinkler.Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosquephotophoto1

The other day I reached for the sightseeing of the city. Huge shopping malls that you can visit for hours. This is a city without weddings, alcohol is forbidden, there are no stores in it, and it is only in certain places, mostly in pubs or bars of luxury hotels and it is quite expensive. One of the biggest offenses is a city-run walk under the influence of alcohol. In this place passionate gamblers have nothing to look for, because there are no casinos and bookmakers, and if you want betting on the internet, when you enter the word "bet" you will be automatically plated from the net. On megalomatic streets, which adorn the same kind of buildings, you will not be able to see scarcely dressed girls or women, as is the case on sunny days in Belgrade or in some other European metropolis.Marina Mall - Abu Dhabiphotophoto1

I worked as a host in an Arab club. This club comes exclusively to the local population of Abu Dhabi. I was surprised by the kindness and teamwork there. I met people of different nationalities and learned from them about something about their culture, food and customs. I learned that I first address them to women because it is a sign of respect. Arabic music and scent of nargile, dancers and local cuisine is what people enjoy every day. I had the opportunity to be there during Helloween's time, and what impressed me was that people there adored this holiday and were very happy to be masked.phopho1pho2

The beaches are as if in a dream. There is no bad or ugly beach. Gold sand and light blue sea. Throughout the year temperatures are summer, and only in December and January may fall slightly below 20 degrees. You can only experience a few rainy days in January and March, while from May to November, statistically, there are no rainy days.beachbeach1beach2Beach3Beach4Beach5Beach6Beach7

In addition to the beautiful nature and exotics, I had the opportunity to visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and water park Yas Waterworld as well as the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi where you can try a golden cup of coffee.

And I've given you the easiest way to finish, which is, of course, a tour of the desert, what every tourist travels when visiting this beautiful country. There is a program in the desert that is being watched, which is riding camels, driving through the desert, local food, local dancing, culture clothes, canvas, Arabic coffee and, of course, nargille.photophoto1photo2photo3photo4photo5photo6photo7photo8photo9

It would be short of me, I hope that at least a little I managed to show you my experience, if I had the opportunity to go again there, I would very much like to leave, and for all who were not there, my advice is to visit this beautiful country something different and experience a different culture.
