I visited China in september, I booked my stay in the Blue Mountain Hostel near Nanjing Lu.
It was a very pleasant experience. I simply loved the ambience, the atmosphere, the very cosmopolitan effect.
I came across people from various countries and all gelled pretty quickly.
Fortunately I visited the pub crawl at shanghai, which also turned out to be fantastic.
This kind of stay or partying isnt expensive or lavish but you definitely meet a lot many more people and the time you spend with them is absolute fun.
