Global Education Alliance / YES-Asia is a company with a sterling 20 year record of providing the best University Study-abroad support in greater China.  From the first day of 9th or 10th grade, we have systems and advisors in place to help students maximize their own potential, as well as help them find the potential school that is going to be the best for their future education.  We offer complete consultation and education packages to help students follow the path that leads to their dream school.

In addition to providing them instruction on all major language proficiency and university entrance tests, we provide guidance and support in country recommendation, school selection, application process, VISA processing and even finding housing before they go abroad.  We are the only company in greater China that offers such comprehensive, detailed and professional support to students intending on study outside of Mainland China.

The company motto is that “Education is Borderless”, and we strive to bring together the best educated individuals as teachers to the most interested and diligent of students, to ensure mutual and continual future success.  While our students are predominantly mainland Chinese, our educational and support staff hail from (currently), 14 different nations, including every single English native speaking nation (except Scotland).

We are currently seeking to fill posts for our Winter Intensive Program, which will run from February 15-24.  Only instructors that can be available for the full time are invited to apply.  Instructors that are unavailable for significant chunks of the time are discouraged from application.

The program is 10 days long, with the students working a total of 70 hours over 10 days (straight).  The materials are all provided for teachers and students, who will be working on one of the following: SAT I, TOEFL, IELTS, or a blended curriculum.  Instructors will be expected to work each day from 0900-1700.  From 0900-1200 instructors will be preparing for the day’s lessons and marking all homework turned in, 1200-1300 is lunch hour, and 1300-1700 the instructor will be delivering lectures and course content.

Instructors will be provided with all materials, and lesson plans accurate to the 10 minute block [as required].  All lesson plans and teacher materials will be delivered to the teachers at least 2 days before the class session is to be held.  Students will be provided with all materials and supplements that they need by our company, and by the school.  Each class the students will have a homework assignment, to be handed out and collected by the instructor, but marked and evaluated in house by YES-Asia/GEA office staff [except essay writing assignments during the course and possible speaking assessments].

Sounds Different?  That is the relative degree of not-sucking.  It IS a Chinese owned company, whose CEO IS Chinese, and which DOES follow Standard Chinese Labor Practices.  The education arm loads Math as well as much Listening, Reading, Grammar and MC Strategies onto Chinese native speakers, but Writing and Speaking are done predominantly by English native speakers.  For advanced students (ie: IELTS 6.0+/TOEFL 80+) all 4 sections are usually handled by the same teacher(s), with the same student(s).  The project for which we are currently trying to recruit, is looking for English native speakers with ability (or at least willingness) to guide students through the 4 skills of English communication, for a 10 day blok from February 15 Friday to February 24 Sunday.
