My 10 year old daughter may be deported, her passport and visa expired in October. I tried to apply for her passport months ago and was told her dad (in South Africa) had to sign the papers, he delayed. My employer is now trying to help sort out the mess but says she may be deported. I've read stories aboit imprisonment, surely they won't put a minor in prison! Will they deport her and I have to stay here if I cant afford to go back to South Africa? Our lives are here now, we have nothing and no one in South Africa and I read that once deported you cant return to China. Any advice or words of wisdom? Please.
