One of China's main selling points has always been the low cost of living. However,it's increased so much in the major cities that I'd be no worse off in Australia. Honestly, I don't think teaching English in China is a way to get your family financially ahead. I also have two kids and am on what's considered a pretty goos salary as a teacher.
