Make surre you visit their International Clinic, the only one in Jinan specifically for foreigners! Hospital is very clean, and you get a private consultation with a professor/very experienced doctor. Prices are reasonable, under 300 kuai for a visit.

This bookstore is pretty huge. They have a large downstairs children's book area as well that I found helpful for picking up Chinese study materials!

Are you a strict vegetarian? Sometimes I worry when I eat dishes at restaurants maybe its made with meat broth or has some kind of fish sauce in it or something. Living here in Jinan sometimes gets me feeling the same. It's ridiculous cold, we're usually in the top 10 for PM 2.5 levels and there's not much green.
