I first started out as a weekend Nanny,I used to takecare of a 2 year old boy for a family,my job was to feed him change his nappy,bath him,read him storys,and put him to bed.thats when i knew what i wanted to be a childcare teacher.

I decided to enrole at Teachers College and do a one year Early ChildCare Course.I was one of 2 males out of 140 students.

I have worked in childcare centres in New Zealand and Australia,my role was to bottle feed babies,change nappies,create learning envroments such as sand play,water play,music and movement,reading storys,cooking,art,getting the children off to sleep,helping to get them dressed,potty training and doing mat times which is singing songs,reading storys.

In 1999 I got offerd a job to go and teach kindergarten aged children in Japan.I spent 6 months teaching English there.

I then went to Taiwan and spent 2 months teaching English to Kindergarten children,and while i was in Taiwan I survived the big Earthquake that happened on the 21/9/1999.

I came back home from Taiwan and found a Job Teaching in Korea.I was employed by YBM Si-sa Dongjak Ecc from Feb 2000 to oct 2000.

Now in my 14th year Teaching English to Kindergarten Children here in China,i have worked for Hailida International Kindergarten,Gymboree(Smart English),Iam in my 12th year at Manha Kindergarten where I teach babies and parents together(parent class),K1,K2and K3.

My favourite age group to teach are the 1-2 year olds.

I have also helped with an after school care programe in Australia and I was a leader on a YMCA camp for children in New Zealand and I helped run a school holiday programe as well.

I have really enjoyed my teaching career and going to different countries to teach.
