Brand Building; Dare to Offer Services without Charge

 

       Hello everyone, my name is Judy Feng Liu, president at J&L Culture and Media Company. Welcome to read, to listen to, and to watch my new series-New Entrepreneurship.

      As our company’s co-founder, president and general manager, I would like to share some of my new understandings about Entrepreneurship according to my own experience.

      Being a servant is a spirit that the entrepreneurs should have, which has been mentioned in the existing entrepreneurship. In my understanding, I think that entrepreneurs not only need to be a good servant, but also need to have the guts to offer services without charge in order to successfully set up brand.

     Why? Because it is no use if only you know you are a good servant, only your company knows you would offer goodhigh-quality and professional services which would let every client to be satisfied.

    So, what would be useful? No doubt, you need to let the clients know. How would you let them know?

    This is a difficult problem to solve, because the world is so large, it is difficult for people to give you a chance to show yourself in a very short time. If you can’t show yourself, if you can’t let the clients give you an opportunity to offer your services, you will still only be known by yourself and your own company.

    In order to let the customers would like to give you an opportunity to offer your services, to build your own brand, I think out such an idea: Brand Building; Dare to Offer Services without Charge.

    For example, as an Integrative Innovation we have launched – one-stop services. We offer our services to the clients without charge before we could let them believe that we would do our work very well according to their requirements.

     If the client doesn’t take our suggestion, or approve the work we have done, then in this case, it means we have to undertake the loss for sure, and what we have done at this point seems like we just had our own money to burn.

     However, it doesn’t affect us to continue to do so. Because we can find out what we have missed, and then fix them, make our services more perfect.

     If our services are more perfect, the customers will give us more chances to show ourselves, give us more opportunities to offer our services, which is good for us to build our brand.

     So, I say, the new entrepreneurship should add this in it: In order to successfully build your company’s brand, you should dare to offer free services for the customers. Give others a chance is actually give yourself a chance.
