Judy’s New Entrepreneurship-Integrative Innovation

      Hello everyone, my name is Judy Feng Liu, president at J&L Culture and Media Company. Welcome to read, to listen to, and to watch my new series-New Entrepreneurship.

     As our company’s co-founder, president and general manager, I would like to share some of my new understandings about Entrepreneurship according to my own experience.

      Joseph Schumpeter and Peter Drucker have told us that the essence of entrepreneurship was innovation. And the entrepreneurs have been following the world’s progress making various Disruptive Innovations.

     As time goes on, however, the pace of social progress is still growing faster and faster, but the destructible industries are less and less.

     So I personally think that it’s the time for a new style innovation, that is, integrative innovation.

     What is the integrative innovation? I would like to use my own company as an example to explain this definition to you, making sure that you, my dear friends, could have a basic comprehensive understanding about it.

     I am a translator and a writer. And I have published some stuff at home and abroad. So our company’s services are based on translation services, which integrate with some services of related businesses.

     So, why do I want to put them together? Because I assume that the translation industry is a sunset industry, which will be disappeared in the next 20 to 50 years. And I don’t want to see our company will be closed along with the industry. I hope our company and our brand will still stand, exist, develop and expand in 200 years, even more than one thousand years.

        So how does J&L integrate them? What do we call this integration?

      Well, we gather our all available resources, launching our “one-stop” services.
