After listening to Liu Taigong’s inculcation, Liu Bang thought for a while, and then said, “I haven’t decided what I want to do. But I think it might be good if I can go out to see the world.”

Liu Taigong was disappointed when he heard what Liu Bang said. He had thought that he could bribe the local officials, and asked them to offer a position for his son.

 But after thinking for a while, he thought it was still acceptable if his son wanted to see the world first.

And at that time, travelling was very popular. So he agreed with Liu Bang’s idea. But Liu Taigong thought Liu Bang was just only a child, it would be very dangerous if he went out by himself. So he asked Lu Wan to go with Liu Bang, he paid all the costs.

His wishful thinking was great. One the one hand, he found a bodyguard for his son. On the other hand, Liu Bang and his friend could have a chance to promote their friendship. Because this way, Liu Bang would have a helper in the government in his future since Lu Wan’s family was rich too. Liu Taigong believed that Lu’s family would find a position for him in the government too.

But Liu Taigong might be regret if he knew where Liu Bang would go, what he would do after taking his money.
