Should the PSB officer have your name and phone number in his phone?

Today I took y'all advice and went to the PSB office to air my grief and get some 'what to do' information as to my next move. the officer I went to checked my passport and asked me what do I need. I told her what was happening and she pointed  me in the direction of another officer who was helping a woman on the floor. After he was finished with her I told him my problem, he took my passport and search for the RP after which, he told me that I have the RP and it's not expired yet so all I have to do was to find another employer. He asked me a few more questions and I answered. He suddenly remembered his phone after I told him where I worked then he asked me my telephone number. I showed it to him on the info sheet I had filled out, while at the same time looking at the message he had on his phone. Low and behold, there was my name and number surrounded by chinese characters that I couldn't read on his phone. Then he asked me for my FEC. I told him the Co. never gave it to me. He said "well, you need to go back to your company an get it and bring it here. Then you have ten days to get out of the country and get a new working visa. Now the stressing starts. I watched him walked to his colleagues, chat with them a little, looked at his phone and showed them the message on the phone, then he made a call. When he was finished with his call they said something to him, he walked back to where I was, then he said to me "in a few minutes somebody from your company is going to call you, answer your phone." Then he reminded me that I needed to bring the FEC in, and that I have ten days to get out of the country. A minute later the lying tongue manager from the recruiting Co. called. I thought that was the strangest thing ever. Why did the officer have my name and number in his phone? Why did he call the company I walked off? Is that a natural thing to do? In my experience of immigrations and immigration's law that was not supposed to happen...not unless the person had committed a serious crime, in which case, they would have sent in the whole shebang to arrest that person.

Somebody, tell me something.
