It’s Now Possible To 3-D Print Your Unborn Baby

Thanks to state-of-the-art 3-D and 4-D Ultrasound technology, parents-to-be can get clearer and sharper images of their unborn baby. Now, a Polish company is doing something more amazing, they’re printing 3-D models of the baby so blind mother or father can “touch” their baby before he or she is born.

This program is called “Waiting Without Barriers”, aimed to provide 3D printed models of the fetus for blind parents-to-be. This technology of seeing and feeling your baby before he or she is born is now available for everyone.

Advances in 3-D and 4-D Ultrasound technology now provide capabilities ranging from certain birth defects tests to standardized views of the fetal heart.

One thing many parents-to-be always appreciate about Guangzhou Elizabeth Women’s Hospital is our amazing 4-D Ultrasound technology. Studies from the American Institute of Ultrasound suggest that 4D Ultrasounds are safe. There is nothing to equal its quality and clarity when it comes to the imaging of your baby, we are so excited to bring this to you.

In the past, parents-to-be weren’t able to see their baby’s face until the baby was born. Moms and dads could only see black and white images of their unborn child through a traditional 2D Ultrasound. With our state-of-the-art 4D Ultrasound, the movements of your unborn baby inside the womb can be seen with clarity that is difficult or impossible to achieve with 2D ultrasound.

How Does The 4D Ultrasound Work?

Below is how the 4D Ultrasound helps create the image of your baby from inside the womb:

A device known as a transducer is moved along your abdomen.
This will send the sound waves via your abdomen and through your uterus.
These sound waves will bounce off your baby in the form of echoes.
The monitor will pick up these echo messages and translate them into the screen.
As your baby moves and kicks about, you will be able to see the images on the ultrasound screen.
